How it works
We use a number of data sources, including:
- Our Length of Residency Indicator
- Our Master Address List
- Valuer General's Office (VGO) data on house and land settlement data
- ABS 2006 Census
How to use the service
You will require a valid residential address, postcode and State, with DPIDs applied. If your database doesn't include DPIDs for residential addresses, we can supply software to remedy this before you use the service.
You will receive information added to each matching customer record to show the Owner/tenant information.
Each household receives a value of 'O' (owner) or 'T' (tenant) indicating whether the inhabitants of the household are likely to be the owners (meaning 'paying off a mortgage' or 'mortgage is paid off') or tenants (renting).
Cost
The price of appending the Owner Tennant Indicator to your database will depend on the volume of records you would like updated or whether you would like to license the variable for internal use and analysis. The Owner Tenant Indicator can also be purchased as a filter when selecting a target market for specific marketing campaigns.
