With Christmas on the way, so too is increased consumer debt.  Baycorp Advantage clients would do well to avoid becoming casualties of their own clients this festive season.  Beginning the process of recovering your debt as soon as possible will increase the likelihood of successful collection before the New Year.

When it comes to successful debt recovery, process efficiency and effectiveness is crucial.  To enable our customers to maximise their window of debt recovery opportunity, Baycorp Advantage provides a fast and effective on-line debt loading service available in both Australia and New Zealand

The on-line debt load service allows registered users to use their PC to load debt files directly into our system via our website for immediate action by Baycorp Advantage.  This access to our system is provided free of charge to customers wishing to use the debt on-line service.  The system enables users to:

  • Load debts directly on-line in real-time, 24 hours a day.
  • Submit instructions to our recovery team on your preferred next steps in the recovery process.
  • Monitor our progress in recovering debt at every stage.
  • Receive requests for further instructions or information from our recovery team.

To better understand the debt on-line process and assist you when working with Baycorp Advantage, here are some tips and answers to frequently asked questions:

How can my organisation become an on-line user?
If you are not currently an on-line user, simply apply for on-line access by either completing the application form located on our website or by contacting our customer service team:

Australia
1300 558 830
contact us via our website

New Zealand - apply for on-line access
0800 800 713
contact us via our website

After agreeing to the terms and conditions of the service and returning the completed application form, you will then receive login details and a reference manual which provides a screen by screen approach on how to use the system.   From there you can start loading and monitoring recovery activity on your debtors’ files immediately.

Do I require compatible software to access the Baycorp Advantage on-line debt recovery system
You will require at least Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 version or Netscape Navigator 4.5 version to access the on-line service for both Australia and New Zealand.

How do I update Baycorp Advantage about the status of a particular debt?
In the screen section that contains the heading Load Debt there is also a heading Locate File.  This section allows you to locate your file within our system and send us instructions relating to that file.

How do I provide Baycorp Advantage with information to support a particular debt claim?
With each debt loaded on-line the system automatically allocates a reference number, which appears immediately on screen as confirmation Baycorp Advantage has successfully loaded your debt.  When supplying support information about a debt the reference number needs to be quoted so the information can be matched with the debt.

How secure is the on-line system?
To safeguard the security of the system all registered users are provided with a confidential username and password.  When visiting the web site all web pages are SSL enabled which means that all transmissions are securely encrypted and all information is protected from any exposure while connected to the web site.  A facility is provided so that the password may be changed at the discretion of the user.

The user is only provided access to information that relates to the account(s) that Baycorp Advantage has established for them.  You may request to have more than one username enabling you to establish a group of users who are permitted to access your customer accounts.

What is Baycorp Adavantage’s suggested process for loading significant monthly volumes of debt?
If you have 20 debts or less to load on average per month, we recommend that your organisation electronically upload these as required.  For volumes larger than this, please provide us with a file and we will load this on your behalf.  We accept files in most formats provided all debt/debtor information appears on a single line.  To try this method or for more information, please contact our customer services team on the details below.
