Baycorp Advantage is pleased to announce that a record number of nominations have been received for the annual Credit Professional and Young Credit Professional of the Year Awards.

In their third year, the awards are now established as a significant event in the calendar of credit & finance professionals. Launched in 2003 the awards were one in a series of steps taken by the New Zealand Credit & Finance Institute (NZCFI) to promote professionalism within the industry.  2005 sees an increase in the number of nominations in each of the two categories.

NZCFI president, Stella Hewitt, said “as an industry we are delighted with the number, and quality, of the nominations for 2005”. Hewitt continues “the awards have now reached a point where we are attracting a significant number of nominations across a wide range of industries.”

As principal sponsor of the previous year’s awards, Baycorp Advantage, is delighted to once again be involved. Group Marketing Manager, Ian Cooper, said “the strong interest in the awards over the past two years proves an increasing appreciation and professionalism of credit professionals.”

The winner of each of the awards will be announced at a gala dinner to be held on 9 March 2006 in Auckland.  For further information on this event and the NZCFI Credit Professional of the Year Awards, go to www.baycorpadvantage.com/nzcfi.
