Vantage Baycorp Advantage Solutions Group – a centre of excellence for Marketing & Credit Scoring Analytics Vantage

Following a review of its business in mid 2004, Baycorp Advantage announced to its customers and shareholders that it would create a centre of excellence in the provision of marketing and credit analytics, and merged its credit scoring team with Baycorp Advantage Marketing Solutions (BMS). The newly created division, Baycorp Advantage Solutions Group, supports customers throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia from two offices located in Sydney and Melbourne.

“The creation of one consulting and analytics division supporting both credit and marketing decision support services has mirrored the strategic alignment of Risk and Marketing in many of our clients”, says Andrew Want, CEO of Baycorp Advantage. “By applying analytics and technology expertise from the marketing and credit teams to the comprehensive, dynamic data held by Baycorp Advantage, the Solutions Group is uniquely positioned to offer a range of services to underpin profitable customer growth”.

Over recent months, the Solutions Group has been working with its clients to ensure that there was no disruption to the quality of service and support offered. In the background, however, management and staff have been working to maximise the synergies arising from the integration, through sharing knowledge, skills, ideas and resources. This has resulted in a number of new product and service ideas that are being researched or developed currently.
